Mobile App Pavilion
Do You Have an “App” for That?
Do you want to put your product in the hands of thousands of readers across the country? Do you have a publication formatted for distribution through mobile devices? Are you developing an app to help readers access information and find new publications? Do you want to help librarians reach their patrons on mobile devices?
Small Press / Product Table
A low-cost exhibit option.
Authors, new publications and technologies often are introduced to the library market by smaller start-up companies. In order to give these companies access to the vital market they seek, ALA has designated a special display option for these companies. If your organization is developing new products and services, this is a low-cost opportunity to introduce yourself the library market.
These exhibitors are supplied many standard benefits as in other areas of the exhibition, but are limited in the method in which they may utilize their display space.
Diversity in Publishing Pavilion
The Diversity in Publishing pavilion will be home to a wide range of titles, publications, and displays.
One area of the pavilion will feature exhibits from diverse publishers that will give attendees the chance to talk to editors, writers and authors.
A Diverse Title Showcase will round out the area. The Showcase will live online before, during and after the event and allow exhibitors to enter their books in a searchable database. These titles will then be displayed in the showcase for attendees to review and build a list of “most wanted” books for their own collections.
Gaming Grove
The Gaming Grove showcases the latest in the gaming area. Applications are being accepted for participation in this specialty area on the exhibit floor. Submissions will be reviewed and 10 applications will be accepted. Additional spots may open up depending on demand.
